Details: Up for sale is my 1993 White/GMC/Volvo WG64T daycab tandem tractor. Clear SC title, drive away with it in hand! Twin 80 gallon fuel tanks. 11.1 series 60 Detroit. The engine alone is easily worth more than I´m asking. Has a 9 speed eaton. shifts great and both ranges work properly.This truck was my first, and got my business started. Now that I´ve moved up, it´s time to let it go to someone else that can use her.Low mileage! it is at 715,xxx if I remember correctly. I was told by the fleet maintenance supervisor of the company I bought it from (he´s a friend of mine) that they did a top end around 625,000 miles. I have been in the engine, and it looks like it to me! (I was a diesel mechanic in the Navy)The good- Lots of new parts to get her on the road- two new headlight assemblies (couldn´t believe how pricy they were) several new tires (fronts are 90% tread virgins, the rears are all retreads, about 4 should be replaced soon but the other 4 are newer retreads with still a lot of life left) new injector wiring harness, 3 new interstate screw top heavy duty batteries, new main battery cable, brand new heated mirrors all the way around, new rear tail lamps and backup light, new clutch brake, new wiper blades, new front axle oil caps, new mud flaps, and hangers. Thick brake shoes all around. Just fixed an oil leak on the back of the engine.The bad- Some fiberglass on the hood and fenders is cracked or pealing- not too bad for a 20yr truck. Driver seat could use a recovering. No radio, I have a nice CD player radio to go in it, just never got around to installing it. Fuel gauge doesn´t work. A/C is converted to R134a, and blows cold. But looses it´s charge pretty rapidly (within 2-3 weeks) so it should be looked at before summer really gets here. Heater works great. Fan only works on high, because the resister grid needs to be replaced, just never got around to it. The control cable for defrost, vent, and floor has come loose, just needs to be snapped back in place. Needs exhaust work, the last time I drove it the whole pipe between under the cab and the muffler fell off. (has underslung muffler) You can drive it like this, it isn´t putting exhaust into the cab, it just makes it louder. The air dryer was bypassed when I got it, so I´m guessing it needs a new one. Has some slight oil leaks, but what Detroit doesn´t? It did pass the federal inspection in Feb of this year.Drives great and has lots of power. The engine has been checked over by the local Detroit dealer. Will run 75 mph flat out. I was told I could have the ECM reflashed for higher speeds and better horsepower pretty easily. It is governed to 1950 RPM right now.I have the over the cab air dam and cab wings if the buyer wants them. Details: Up for sale is my 1993 White/GMC/Volvo WG64T daycab tandem tractor. Clear SC title, drive away with it in hand! Twin 80 gallon fuel tanks. 11.1 series 60 Detroit. The engine alone is easily worth more than I´m asking. Has a 9 speed eaton. shifts great and both ranges work properly.This truck was my first, and got my business started. Now that I´ve moved up, it´s time to let it go to someone else that can use her.Low mileage! it is at 715,xxx if I remember correctly. I was told by the fleet maintenance supervisor of the company I bought it from (he´s a friend of mine) that they did a top end around 625,000 miles. I have been in the engine, and it looks like it to me! (I was a diesel mechanic in the Navy)The good- Lots of new parts to get her on the road- two new headlight assemblies (couldn´t believe how pricy they were) several new tires (fronts are 90% tread virgins, the rears are all retreads, about 4 should be replaced soon but the other 4 are newer retreads with still a lot of life left) new injector wiring harness, 3 new interstate screw top heavy duty batteries, new main battery cable, brand new heated mirrors all the way around, new rear tail lamps and backup light, new clutch brake, new wiper blades, new front axle oil caps, new mud flaps, and hangers. Thick brake shoes all around. Just fixed an oil leak on the back of the engine.The bad- Some fiberglass on the hood and fenders is cracked or pealing- not too bad for a 20yr truck. Driver seat could use a recovering. No radio, I have a nice CD player radio to go in it, just never got around to installing it. Fuel gauge doesn´t work. A/C is converted to R134a, and blows cold. But looses it´s charge pretty rapidly (within 2-3 weeks) so it should be looked at before summer really gets here. Heater works great. Fan only works on high, because the resister grid needs to be replaced, just never got around to it. The control cable for defrost, vent, and floor has come loose, just needs to be snapped back in place. Needs exhaust work, the last time I drove it the whole pipe between under the cab and the muffler fell off. (has underslung muffler) You can drive it like this, it isn´t putting exhaust into the cab, it just makes it louder. The air dryer was bypassed when I got it, so I´m guessing it needs a new one. Has some slight oil leaks, but what Detroit doesn´t? It did pass the federal inspection in Feb of this year.Drives great and has lots of power. The engine has been checked over by the local Detroit dealer. Will run 75 mph flat out. I was told I could have the ECM reflashed for higher speeds and better horsepower pretty easily. It is governed to 1950 RPM right now.I have the over the cab air dam and cab wings if the buyer wants them. Details: Due to life changes I need to sell my volvo. It has 80k miles on it and is a 6-speed manual FWD. Clutch was completely replaced 20k miles ago, recently replaced brake pads, has a new starter and battery. I love this car and the turbo makes it very fun to drive but I must get rid of it as we now need an SUV. Many of the miles on this car are highway highway miles and it averages 31 mpg on the highway and 25 in town. I average 27 during my commute to work every week. Also has leather heated seats, A/C works great, has tinted windows a rear spoiler and a sunroof. Has been a very reliable car for me over the past few years. I am asking 13,000 or best offer for it.
