Details: I have a recently purchased 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo (Auto, 5-cyl, 2.3L) with 188,000 miles. I bought it as a project car to work on over time, but it turns out the car needs more work than I am willing to do at this point. The main issue is that the car overheats after being driven for about 15 miles, but once left to cool down for a few minutes will drive again. This is a common problem with 850s and it can be a number of different things. I´m not versed in coolant systems so it could be anything from a thermostat to a radiator to a head gasket. According to the last owner, the timing belt and water pump have just been replaced. Cosmetically, the car is missing the headliner, has a cracked dash and has some lights out in the instrument panel. The leather in the front seats is rough. There´s also a dent in the front driver´s side and the paint is faded on the top (see pics) but even in its current condition, the car drives alright prior to overheating. Car has old school 6-CD player (located in back), leather, sunroof, power windows, and all the bells and whistles that come with the 1995 Turbos. Details: For sale is a 1990 Volvo 240DL. This car has been a daily driver for many years and the motor and transmission are in great shape. The odometer shows 175xxx but has not worked since I bought the car(Most Volvos of these years have this odometer issue). It drives great on the highway but has developed an idling issue which appears to be caused by the Idle Air Control(IAC) valve. The idling issue causes the car to stall when stopped so the car would need to be trailered/towed by the buyer. The 240 has 2 fuel pumps and I just replaced the high pressure pump. I have a brand new in-tank pump that will come with the car as well as a new timing belt. I just do not have the time to do the repairs myself and have decided to get rid of it. I have a clear GA title and the car is currently tagged and driven daily(The title reflects the odometer issue as exact mileage is unknown). These cars are very safe and well built and this would make a great student car for that new driver once the idle issue is addressed, or the car could be used for parts. The air conditioner does not work and there is a small scratch/dent on the roof just above the drivers side door. There is also a small dent in the trunk lid that cannot be seen in the pictures below. The car comes with the rare Turbo Virago wheels which gives the car a nice look and stance. The car has new headlights as the original ones were yellowing. As you can tell by the pics, the car cleans up nicely but the paint does have some issues as the clear coat is flaking off the hood. Details: I have a recently purchased 1995 Volvo 850 Turbo (Auto, 5-cyl, 2.3L) with 188,000 miles. I bought it as a project car to work on over time, but it turns out the car needs more work than I am willing to do at this point. The main issue is that the car overheats after being driven for about 15 miles, but once left to cool down for a few minutes will drive again. This is a common problem with 850s and it can be a number of different things. I´m not versed in coolant systems so it could be anything from a thermostat to a radiator to a head gasket. According to the last owner, the timing belt and water pump have just been replaced. Cosmetically, the car is missing the headliner, has a cracked dash and has some lights out in the instrument panel. The leather in the front seats is rough. There´s also a dent in the front driver´s side and the paint is faded on the top (see pics) but even in its current condition, the car drives alright prior to overheating. Car has old school 6-CD player (located in back), leather, sunroof, power windows, and all the bells and whistles that come with the 1995 Turbos.
