The car currently does not run. The guys at Bob Sumerell told me the issue is low compression, and then proceeded to tell me how much money they wanted from me. I think someone with car knowledge can fix it for a good price. I dont know much about cars, but I do know that I loved it while I had it and it was well taken care of. Oil changes were made regularly, and it even has new tires. Less than 20,000 miles on them. Brakes are good to go. Nice CD player inside. Just an all around cool car. The reason for me selling it instead of investing in it is that I am moving out to the West Coast and cant afford to have it shipped, let alone fix it on top of all the moving costs. I´m not sure why.-Battery has to be unplugged when you leave it sit more then 10 minutes or it will do. This is due to the bad heater controls. If you unplugged that it would be fine.-Needs a hood release cable.So not really any big problems. Runs and drives. ONLY 92XXX miles.Clean title. Great car. I´m asking 2,500$ cash. No lower. Details: VERY RARE CAR.. 1959 volvo pv544 two door sedan b16. looks like a MINI 47 ford copy.... bought the car from arizona and had it shipped from the original owner[ since 1960] it has been parked since 1973 so no it is not running or drivable right now. These cars were rated the best ralley cars and most reliable engines of its time. check them out on the net! It took me about a year to get this one due to not needing alot of work on rust repair. hot little runner with fun power and great fuel economy at 30mpg.. The motor free spins loose, needs tlc, near rust free car.... these rare cars are hard to find in this solid of condition. ´´´Interior totaly shot from the heat in Arizona´´´´.... NOTE [i have collected many new parts for this car and will offer them for sale for extra money including a rebuilt modified reliable b20 2130cc engine pushing 180hp He is what´s been done... It is a 1974 volvo b-20 engine 24,000 miles since rebuilt by volvo master mechanic ,bored to 2100 cc. w/volvo pistons, isky (i.p.d.) street cam, ported/polished head, set up w/ stromberg carbs but can be run w/e.f.i.,complete w/clutch bellhousing.This will fit any volvo from 1962 thru 1975 ex 164 models.This is a great way to perk up an older volvo----] THIS PERFORMANCE MOTOR IS NOT FOR SALE UNTILL THE CAR SALES- IF THE CAR SELLS THE MOTOR WILL BE RELISTED FOR SALE...BOTTOM RIGHT is a pic is what they look like done! Details: 2001 Volvo S40 4-door sedan. Color: midnight blue. 154,400 miles. All service records available. Original, one family owner. Is in reasonable running condition but could use some mechanical repairs (catalytic converter). The only other notable issue is a rattle in the undercarriage caused by missing rubber washers that have rotted away causing metal to metal contact. Was told by Volvo service department that it is not an issue that requires repair.
