Details: Up for sale is a 1996 Volvo 850R, which is a very sought after and collectible Volvo. This car has 182K miles on it, which is not a whole lot for a Volvo. I just recently put over 3k dollars into this car. Must of that being just in parts. When I purchased the car it had jumped time. So I had the cylinder head redone, and all the bent valves were replaced and did a complete valve job on it. Also a Volvo Master Tech installed it. Also I used all new Volvo timing components and even put a new water pump on it. While it was down I put all new coolant hoses on it including the heater core hoses, I even replaced all the vacuum lines. Also I replaced a lot of other parts I upgraded the upper engine mounts to polyurethane IPD mounts, did a complete tune up with IPD 8mm wires, Volvo cap and rotor. Also I put a new flame trap (pcv) and hoses on it. While the head was off I upgraded the exhaust manifold to a 2007 S60R manifold because the original one was cracked. Because this car had sat for a while I put a new battery in it, belt and tensioner, and did pads, rotors, and calipers on it all the way around. This car runs great and is very mechanically sound. I am sure there is a bunch of parts that I am forgetting. I am a Volvo enthusiast and I am selling this car because I just recently acquired another R and don´t have the room to keep it. I am asking 4k for the car, reasonable offers will be considered.
