Details: Hey all,Let me sum this up. The wife and I are going to grad school in Richmond and no longer need two cars as we´ll live close to campus. Due to this, we´re keeping the old Mercury and are selling my Volvo. My loss, your gain. The car is very, very clean. It´s the first year the new body style was sold (2004.5) and has quite low miles for that year (89k). It is up to date with emissions, safety inspection, and registration. The only flaws to this otherwise PERFECT car are as follows:There is a CD jammed in the CD player. We tried to play a burned CD and apparently the CD deck didn´t like this. The wife and I usually use ear phones and our phones for music anyway so we haven´t bothered to get this fixed, but it could be as easy as just paying someone $20 to remove it. Maybe you could even do it with some tweezers or something, I just don´t know. Pretty minor issue.There are minor flaws in the paint associated with an 8 year old car, but they´re hardly noticeable.The underguard is loose and grinds against the pavement when the wheel is cranked 100% left or right, but the fix is free. Needs a bolt fastened and takes 5 minutes. I may just do this myselfThat´s all.Otherwise, it´s very clean. It´s got all the bells-and-whistles including heated leather seats, a moon roof, etc., and all work just like the day it was bought. The leather looks barely used. It has been given a recent look-over by a mechanic and I have the review which shows nearly new fluids (not just oil which is always up-to-date). I had two engine mounts replaced when I got the car (2nd owner) due to some annoying squeaking noises when turning. The front brakes are only about a year old.This is first come first serve. There is a minor dent in the back passenger side and a few nicks here and there (local body shop is willing to fix everything for $800). Break pads are at the point of needing to be replaced. Front low-beam headlight bulb just went out. It is also time for an oil change. I have maintained the vehicle with Martens Volvo (they have a record of all work done on the car). Car runs great and has practically new Michelin tires that are covered by a Costco warranty (get them rotated every 5,000 miles and air check for free anytime). Also included are all-weather floor mats, cleaning supplies, bike rack, ice scrapper/snow brush, jack and spare tire, jumper cables, and car strap. Original owners (friends) drove the car very little and I only drive it around town.
