I´ve been driving approx. 50 miles a day in only fair weather and it has proven to be and incredible car. at 38 years old, the mostly all original car turns heads and looks great. It runs and shifts flawlessly with a 3.0 liter inline six cylinder backed up with a 3 speed automatic (no overdrive). The cars comes with an assortment of vintage and new parts... Original steel wheels with two piece hub caps, mirrors, tail lights, speakers, alternator, and various other odds and ends. I did a complete tune up, replaced the battery along with the alternator and exhaust to insure day to day reliability. The car has been great and has truly impressed me. It currently has later model Virgo Turbo wheels that I refinished to match the car. It´s an awesome automobile that represents character, dignity and class. Details: I´m selling my nice, low mileage, well maintained daily driver. I purchased the car from the original family (only 60 y/o + owners) and gave it a needed timing belt and water pump. I have a stack of receipts from the prior owner as well. If could use tires, as they are getting old and dry rotted, but they are evenly worn. The car has a documented 132k miles and shows even less on the exterior and interior. The only blemishes on the body are on the passenger front fender behind the side marker light and the passenger rear bumper has a spot where it appears to have had a tire punch the bottom of the back bumper in behind the tire. Both of these are fixable with no paintwork needed.The tan leather interior is in decent shape, but the drivers seat does have some cracking. Both heated seats and all the power functions work, but the a/c does not blow cold. I´m assuming it could use a charge, but I´m not an a/c expert. The previous owner said it quit blowing cold last summer. I recently replaced the drivers side seat belt as it stopped working, and in the process left a plug undone when I plugged in the battery, causing the SRS light to come on. This will need to be reset by the dealer. Other than that, it has no check engine lights and shows no signs of problems. The transmission shifts great in and out of sport, economy and winter modes, and starts without fail every time.Its a fun car, and it boosts great and rides fantastic, but I´m buying something newer and reducing the amount of cars I have. Details: I´ve got a ´74 164E that I am actually driving daily. I bought it as a project and have been using to keep miles off of my truck. I´ve been driving approx. 50 miles a day in only fair weather and it has proven to be and incredible car. at 38 years old, the mostly all original car turns heads and looks great. It runs and shifts flawlessly with a 3.0 liter inline six cylinder backed up with a 3 speed automatic (no overdrive). The cars comes with an assortment of vintage and new parts... Original steel wheels with two piece hub caps, mirrors, tail lights, speakers, alternator, and various other odds and ends. I did a complete tune up, replaced the battery along with the alternator and exhaust to insure day to day reliability. The car has been great and has truly impressed me. It currently has later model Virgo Turbo wheels that I refinished to match the car. It´s an awesome automobile that represents character, dignity and class.
