I purchased the car in December and love it, but it´s more vehicle than I need at the moment. I have it at the price it´s at now because it does have some cosmetic damage, it has a slight shake between 23 and 28 (okay, you caught me, those were estimates) mph. The engine light comes on, but I don´t know why and it doesn´t affect the driving at all. The Kelly Blue Book value of this vehicle is very close to 5,000 in the condition it´s in. The engine sounds great. If you are interested, please come and take a look at the car and go for a spin. It has been a great car for me, but have since bought a V70R and don´t have the space for this one. The engine and transmission run and shift very well. Mechanically the car is very solid. This has the 2.4 L Turbo with and automatic transmission. Within the last year it has received new OEM ball joints, and the PCV system has been replaced with all new parts and hoses. The car has leather interior. The front seats show their age, but are the most comfortable Volvo seats I have sat in. The rear seat is is in great condition. I have upgraded the door speakers to speakers that come in the R models, and added rear deck speakers from the T5 models. The car has a 6 disk CD changer in the trunk and is wired for SiriusXM radio. The car has heated seats, heated mirrors, moon/sunroof, etc. The AC works great. The exterior has tinted windows and I have installed front fog lights. This car is originally from Florida, and as such has little to no rust on the underbody. The Bad:The car has a vibration at higher speeds, and does need an alignment. Originally I was going to fix this matter before selling, but have not had the time to look into it very far and would rather sell the car, than see it sit in the yard. The front end feels tight and solid, and I have had multiple sets of tires on the car, but the same vibration issue still occurs. There is a small pinhole leak in the top of the heater core. This is a common problem in S/V70´s. No coolant leaks out of it, but there is a coolant smell when first turning on the heat. Other than that everything looks and works great. Details: For Sale: 1998 Volvo S70 GLT 2.4 L LPT, Automatic, 195,720 miles, White with Tan Leather interiorI have owned this car for 3 years and have put roughly 40,000 miles on the car. It has been a great car for me, but have since bought a V70R and don´t have the space for this one. The engine and transmission run and shift very well. Mechanically the car is very solid. This has the 2.4 L Turbo with and automatic transmission. Within the last year it has received new OEM ball joints, and the PCV system has been replaced with all new parts and hoses. The car has leather interior. The front seats show their age, but are the most comfortable Volvo seats I have sat in. The rear seat is is in great condition. I have upgraded the door speakers to speakers that come in the R models, and added rear deck speakers from the T5 models. The car has a 6 disk CD changer in the trunk and is wired for SiriusXM radio. The car has heated seats, heated mirrors, moon/sunroof, etc. The AC works great. The exterior has tinted windows and I have installed front fog lights. This car is originally from Florida, and as such has little to no rust on the underbody. The Bad:The car has a vibration at higher speeds, and does need an alignment. Originally I was going to fix this matter before selling, but have not had the time to look into it very far and would rather sell the car, than see it sit in the yard. The front end feels tight and solid, and I have had multiple sets of tires on the car, but the same vibration issue still occurs. There is a small pinhole leak in the top of the heater core. This is a common problem in S/V70´s. No coolant leaks out of it, but there is a coolant smell when first turning on the heat. Other than that everything looks and works great. This has been a very reliable car for me. The car is located at my place in Menomonie. Thanks for looking; price is $2,300 OBO. Details: I have a 1983 Volvo turbo four door automatic. it was last on the road in 95. The interior is shot and the body is weathered with some dents but mostly whole. It ran great and was to be my first car years ago when it was parked but i ended up with a truck instead and so she sat. at some point the coil cable was cut and i didnt have one here to test it with. though i believe i will be able to fire it up with a little work if i get a wire. shoot me an offer if intrested there is no harm in asking. Details: 2001 Volvo v70 Wagon with 234K highway miles. New tires this winter and has front wheel drive. Great in the snow. Priced for quick sale.Runs and drives great. Close to 30 miles per gallon. Lots of cosmetic dings, I drove this car for work for many years and my daughter drove it for college. I did about $2K in work on the car over the last two years, shocks, struts, new battery, belts and brakes. Everything on the car works with the following exceptions, the air bag light is on. It costs $100 to reset the light at the dealer, I did not see a need. A warning comes on the computer sensor that one of the running lights does not work but they are all working. The rear-view mirror is fading but still usable. The Radio´s CD player has a Led Zeppelin CD in player but the button is not ejecting it. Ok if you like LZ. Car is sold AS-IS. Please take a test drive and you will be very surprised how solid the car is,I have many other photos call me Brian at 612.570.0612.
