I think we will see $5.00 a gallon by the end of this year) $1,800.00 Or Best Offer....ALL ABOUT SIMPLICITY. Everything works and is a daily driver. The engine was meticulously taken care of and you could cook lunch right off the engine, it´s that clean. No leaks, cracks, or signs of a neglect. She may have 259K miles on it.... But these vehicles have set word records in miles. And I wouldn´t be surprised if this one could do the same if you take care of it. The owner before me loved this car, you can tell. I have a nice and neat folder that he kept records in. (Typical Volvo owners.... Kind of anal engineer/CPA types... Which I think is great!) ENGINE - (Scale 1 to 10---> ´9.5´) Electronic fuel injected 2.3 liter 4 cylinder 4 speed with overdrive for 5th.- manual transmission. EXTERIOR - (Scale 1 to 10---> ´8´ ) The body and paint is in great shape. Couple of small dings, and your typical scratches. (But nothing that makes it look like you´re enrolling in the local derby) it shines like new (I don´t know what the paint color is called, I call it skin color. It´s different and I like that). Tires match and have about 50% Tread left. Small crack on passenger side windshield... 3 or 4 inches. All lights work fine front and back. It looks good and I get complements on it all the time. It´s very European looking is what I hear. Like something you would see in England...lol Whatever... :) I call it the older hybrid with more style than the newer hybirds. **TAGS GOOD UNTIL 7/2013INTERIOR - (Scale 1 to 10---> ´8´ ) Inside is acceptable in every way. Clean, a couple of small cracks on the dash, a small hole on the back seat. It´s not perfect, but pretty close. All the windows work just fine.. EVEN the sunroof... (The good old crank type). Heat works great. So does the AIR CONDITIONER.... Wow! That´s not normal for old cars. But, being that this car has just under 100 horse power, don´t expect hills to be easy to ascend..lol It´s a bit slow up the hills as it is anyways. If you´re doing 55 or higher not a problem. But anything under that..lol It´s about economy, okay? :) Just enjoy the money saved while driving a car that looks like a collectors toy. (Their is a big Volvo fan club in Oregon. You´ll notice that when you own one)NEGATIVES - Rear defrost doesn´t work. Cigarette lighter doesn´t work (VERY easy fix) And that´s it...... Buy it and drive it everyday right now the way it is. I would feel safe driving this vehicle across the country. It´s a very simple car and kind of a joy to drive. No headaches and doesn´t require a quantum physics engineer to fix it if anything goes wrong. (Like today´s vehicles as they corner the market in complexity to keep you having to go back to them again and again) Great vehicle for converting it into a water hybrid.... (Ask me about that if you don´t know what that is)WORK DONE ON IT - 2009 New belts.New hoses.New rotors. Rebuilt front calipers + pads.New rear brake pads.New master cylinder.New heater blower motor.New fuel injector seals.Cleaned throttle body.Rebuild engine wiring harness.Nothing more needed as it sits right now.REASONS FOR SELLING - I will replace this car with a dual sport motorcycle. Runs smooth, fairly new tires, heated mirrors, new water-pump, third-row seats, working moon/sun roof, and working heater. Missing the blinker reflectors and has no stereo.Right now has a cone-intake, Flowmaster 40 series muffler, manual boost controller. Not too loud, but does make a little noise.
