They brought it back again in 2004 with the S60/V70R but again it only lasted a few years. My particular vehicle is a 1996 850R, bright red, fully loaded. It comes with such options as...*dual power heated seats (with the suede inserts)*climate control*premium sound (CD) and I have the six disc changer in the trunk (not installed)*tracs (traction control program) which not many 850´s hadThe engine is a 2.3 liter 5 cylinder turbocharged with 240 horsepower. This is an automatic! The only minor upgrade I´ve done is installed a K&N air filter to give it 2-3 more horsepower. It is is in really good shape, only a couple minor things (ie bulbs have burned out on the dash, had some replaced already) but nothing engine wise. Details: Hey there,I´m selling my 1999 Volvo S70, it has been in our family since we bought it new off the lot. Originally my mother owned it, then I bought it from her about 5 years ago. It hasn´t been driven by any kids, so it´s been cared for pretty responsibly. We´ve had it maintained by the same mechanic and have had it regularly maintained, the most recent work having the transmission flushed. Details: Hi! Ive got a 95 850 for sale.First, the bad.. It runs rough. Has a misfire on #5, not sure why. It runs, and idles fine, but when you get on it is when the problem shows up. Compression tested, shows good. Im not really a mechanic, I can follow instructions and all that but Im having a hard time solving this. Ive got other things going on right now, and Id rather just have this gone at this point.It needs new CV boots. Its not clicking, it just has torn boots. Sunroof works, but has a wonky track, so I diddnt use it. Has an oil leak from the turbo oil return line which needs repair.Other than the whole running thing, its in very good shape. Paint looks good, interior is very clean. No rips or stains anywhere. Front tires are newer, rear tires are alright.Ive put a lot of new parts into this car, mostly normal maintenance stuff thats usually ignored on these cars. In the past 6 months ive replaced the plugs, wires, cap and rotor, vacuum lines coming off the turbo and airbox, PCV system, thermostat, heater core, front right spring seat, new odo gear and some coolant lines. Also has new upper engine stabilizer mounts, and a new battery. AC works great!If you had a garage do the stuff Ive done, itd be over 3k in parts and labor. I got a quote to do the PCV system that was over 800! Spring seat, 400. Heater core, 500. So if you know a mechanic, or -are- a mechanic, this car is a great deal.Im pretty firm on the price, its not costing me anything to keep, and Ill keep trying to fix it. If I fix it, ill be asking more obviously. Get it now while its cheap! :DIm open to trades, too, let me know what youve got.
