I replaced the drivers side sun visor last month, they are known to droop after 10 years on this model, so now you´re good to go for another 10 years.There´s a cosmetic bump on front where it was backed into with a trailer hitch, it did no damage to the car other than cosmetically, very minor, as you can see in the picture below.Trade for station wagon or small pick-up truck welcome. Details: Up for sale is my 1999 Volvo C70 Convertible. Automatic transmission. Perfect for summer and is very luxury. The car is ´Pearl White´ in color and only has 92,000 original miles on it. It runs and drives great and pulls very strong with it´s 2.4 liter 5 cylinder engine.It has full leather interior and a premium sound system. It does have some flaws, though, which is why I´m not asking $8,000 for it. The roof does NOT leak and has a glass rear window (which is very rare). Brand new front tires, but rear tires need to be replaced in the next year or so.Clean title!Cons:The roof doesn´t go up and down automatically - you have to do it by hand! (or take it to a mechanic and they will fix it for you)The front leather seats are worn out - need to get re-upholstered or replaced (or seat covers, up to you!)Heater core doesn´t work (in other words, there is no hot air coming into the cabin)Passenger door only opens from the inside (I might be able to fix it before selling the car, very minor issue)Car needs alignment (pulls to the right a little)Other than the cons listed above, the car doesn´t have any other mechanical problems. Details: I am thinning my collection of diesel Volvos and am offering my 1985 740 GLE Turbodiesel wagon for sale. Only 120k miles, silver exterior with black interior, well cared for, in healthy condition overall. 2.4 liter turbodiesel straight six D24T engine, 4-speed ZF automatic transmission. I have owned and driven many of these cars and this is the strongest runner of them all. It´s fast! Desirable, hard to find vehicle. These are roomier, smoother, simpler, quicker, and more efficient than a Mercedes diesel wagon, larger and more versatile than a TDI wagon, and more durable and cheaper to maintain than both.Has power locks, power windows, manual sunroof (works, doesn´t leak), etc. Biodiesel compatible, use bio or diesel or any % blend. I have run mostly B99. Much recent refurbishment under the hood has taken care of anything needing mechanical attention. Runs and drives great, mechanically excellent, but cosmetically showing its age and has a handful of typical, minor old Volvo quirks. This car spent a portion of its life in Arizona and the paint and interior surfaces suffered as a result of the sun and heat. It is clean and presentable overall, but would need fresh paint and some interior rehab to be really nice. As-is, it is a fine driver with an endearing Southwest patina that you won´t be afraid of using as a utility vehicle.This car has had its mechanical needs well addressed and I had planned to do a cosmetic refurbishment as well, but other priorities now demand my time and money. Great chance to get a solid, unique, nice-driving diesel wagon for an inexpensive price.
